PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech recognition result control apparatus, along with a speech recognition result display method, capable of simply confirming speech contents. SOLUTION: A telephone conversation recording/controlling apparatus 400 includes a speech recognition result control device for controlling the results of a speech recognition processing for speech data of conversation. The apparatus includes: an image forming unit 430 for forming a conversation display screen in which the character string as a result of the speech recognition processing and the utterance section as a time range for obtaining speech recognition results are distinguished by each speaker and displayed in the order of utterance timing; and includes an image output unit 440 for output of the conversation display screen which is formed by the image forming unit. The conversation display screen associates the utterance section and the character string with each speaker, and displays the time base direction of the utterance section display and the arrangement direction of the character string without making them coincide with each other.
