PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preferred reception apparatus which acquires information on another device by transmitting and receiving information between a plurality of devices. SOLUTION: In a system in which a plurality of devices including one or more digital broadcast receivers 110a are connected by a control bus 10, a device data management unit, a billing information management unit for managing billing information, and a reception contract management unit for managing information on a reception contract are included in each digital broadcast receiver 110a. When the digital broadcast receiver is additionally connected, information on the reception contract which has already been made is obtained from another digital broadcast receiver. Part or all of the information is set and a broadcast providing source is informed of the fact.
