The chassis has stabilizers (8) i.e. rotating rods, hinged at a wheel suspension (2) and supported at a vehicle body (7). An adjustment device is provided for changing spring rigidity, spring force and/or spring moment of the stabilizers, and includes an actuator (9). The stabilizers and the device are assigned to each wheel (3) of a vehicle axle, where the stabilizers at the vehicle axle are implemented as separate components. The actuator is implemented as a hydraulic adjusting device, an electric motor and a clutch mechanism, which is implemented as an electromagnetic adjusting device.
