PURPOSE: A composition containing Hovenia dulcis Thunb young branch extract is provided to improve the activation of ADH and ALDH and to relieve hangover. CONSTITUTION: A composition for relieving hangover contains Hovenia dulcis Thunb young branch extract. A method for preparing the extract comprises: a step of slicing the young branch in 1-2cm and crushing; a step of adding 10 times volume of water and heating at 90-100 degrees Celsius for 3 hours; a step of filtering the extract to remove impurities; and a step of connecting. The composition for relieving hangover contains 59.9 weight% of Hovenia dulcis Thunb young branch extract, 5.0 weight% of Hovenia dulcis Thunb fruit concentrate liquid, 3.0 weight% of honey, 3.0 weight% of liquid fructose, 0.07 weight% of sodium citrate, 0.05 weight% of grapefruit seed extract, 1.0 weight% of Puerariae Radix extract, 3.0 weight% of liquid oligosaccharide, 1.5 weight% of pine needle extract, 0.2 weight% of glycine, and 25.215 weight% of purified water. |
