PREPARING METHOD OF SOMATIC EMBRYO PRODUCTION IN LIRIODENDRON TULIPIFERA

PURPOSE: A method for somatic cell embryogenesis of Liriodendron tulipifera is provided to ensure high plant formation rate and to obtain a large amount of somatic embryo. CONSTITUTION: A method for somatic cell embryogenesis of Liriodendron tulipifera comprises: a step of proliferating embryogenic tissues from Liriodendron tulipifera seeds in a medium containing 18-22 g/L of sucrose, 0.3-0.5% gelrite, 1.8-2.2 mg/L of 2,4-D, and 0.2-0.3 mg/L of BA in 1/2 MS medium; and a step of performing cell spreading culture of the tissues for somatic cell embryogenesis. The cell spreading culture is performed in a medium containing 35-45g/L of sucrose, 450-50mg/L of casamino acid, and 0.3-0.5% gelrite in 1/2 MS medium.
