The invention relates to an application head (2) for the application of a product, comprising: a receiving zone (32); an application element to be disposed in the receiving zone, whereby the application element is permeable to the product and is intended to come into contact with a surface to be treated with the product when it is in the receiving zone; an application head body (9) comprising means for establishing fluid communication between the receiving zone (32) and a container (20) housing the product to be applied; and a valve (40) designed to seal the fluid communication means and configured such that (i) the positioning of the application element in the receiving zone is accompanied by the opening of the valve or (ii) since the application element is mounted such that it can move and/or deform in the receiving zone, the movement and/or deformation of the application element in the receiving zone, once it has engaged with the surface to be treated, is accompanied by the opening of the valve. |
