EGR GAS FILTERING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An EGR gas filter system comprising a metal form filter is provided to prevent particulate materials from becoming adhered to a cooler by enhancing the filtering efficiency of EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) gas using a metal form effectively filtering the particulate materials from the EGR gas. CONSTITUTION: An EGR gas filter system comprises an EGR line(60), a filter case(110) and a metal form filter(240). The EGR line receives exhaust gas from the engine, mixes it with external air and then supplies it to the engine back. The filter case is installed on the EGR line. The metal foam filter is installed in the filter case. The backend of the filter case comprises an EGR cooler for cooling the EGR gas. The metal foam filter has a shape of bar, which slopes from the flow direction of exhaust gas.
