A grinding and polishing unit comprises spindle and tool units that provide rotation and relative displacement of a tool and a part with their mutual pressing. It further comprises a system of monitoring the work surface, which allows controlling its reflection coefficient under conditions of feed into the treatment zone of process fluid aerosol.
