PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and control method thereof are provided to enable a user terminal to conveniently input a character even in a keypad which is included in the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen displays a keypad including a plurality of key buttons corresponding to each intrinsic alphabet. When a predetermined button is primarily touched among the plurality of key buttons, a control unit(180) inputs an alphabet of the predetermined key buttons. The control unit predicts a recommended word which starts with the intrinsic alphabet of the predetermined key button. When the predetermined key button is secondarily touched after primarily touched, the control unit input a second alphabet of a recommended word. |
