PURPOSE: A water dispenser, a control method thereof, and a refrigerator therewith are provided to inform a user whether the user can drink supplied water or not by selectively displaying the elapsed time of stored water. CONSTITUTION: A water dispenser comprises a main body(151), a water supply unit, a water state display unit, a signal input unit(165), and a controller. The main body comprises a water supply space. The water supply unit supplies water to the water supply space. The water state display unit selectively displays the elapsed time of water. A water supply signal is inputted to the signal input unit. The controller controls the water supply unit and the water state display unit based on the water supply signal.
