A process for the preparation of 3-hydroxy-5-oxo-2,3,4,5,6,7-hexahydrothiazolo[3,2-a]pyridine derivatives involves short-term heating of mixture of substituted 2-oxo-5-cyano-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridine-6-thiolates of N-methylmorpholinium (II) andα-bromoketones (III) in ethanol up to dissolution of initial rectants. |
