PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF HYDROPHILIC GRANULATION COPOLYMERS

Disclosed is a process for the preparation of hydrophilic granulation copolymers that can be used in pharmacy and medicine for the production of polymer carriers for controlled release of drugs, bioactive substances and enzymes. The process involves interaction of hydroxyethyl ethylene glycol methacrylate and polyvinylpyrrolidone 10-28 ths. in the mixture of inert solvents cyclohexanol and 1-decanol, in the presence of stabilizing agent and water. As stabilizing agent used is a magnesium hydroxide or barium sulphate as fine colloid, or polyvinylpyrrolidone of molar weight of 360 ths. Copolymerization is carried out in the presence of metal salt of variable oxidation rate.The technical effect is in reducing duration and temperature of synthesis, possibility of the preparation of polymeric materials of spherical form with more developed surface and better sorption properties.
