PURPOSE: A water filtering apparatus equipped with a water level controlling unit is provided to increase the dust collection efficiency of the apparatus by controlling the level of water in the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A water filtering apparatus includes an external air inlet(101), a dust separation part, an exhaust hole, a dust container part(200), and water level controlling units. The external air inlet introduces air containing dust. The dust separation part is in connection with external air inlet. The dust container part separates dust contained the air. The exhaust hole is in connection with the dust separation part. The exhaust hole exhausts filtered air without dust. The dust container part is in connection with the dust separation part and is filled with water. The water level controlling units are installed at the dust container part and maintain the level of water.
