<p>PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to facilitate the heat transfer to a secondary protection element equipped between a protection circuit module and to discharge the heat from the secondary protection element. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(1000) comprises: a bare cell(100) including an electrode terminal and a cap plate(140) insulated with the electrode terminal; a protection circuit module(200) which is installed at one side of the bare cell and is electrically connected to the electrode terminal and a cap-plate; a secondary protection device which is connected to the electrode terminal and the protection circuit module and installed between the bare cell and protection circuit module; and a holder(400) which is installed between the bare cell and the module, has a housing portion for housing the secondary protection device and supports the protection circuit module.</p> |
