PURPOSE: A hot spot location alarm system and method thereof are provided to transmit information about WiFi hot stop service to a user terminal and to activate a WiFi hot spot service. CONSTITUTION: A home location register(140) determines whether a terminal is operated in a dual-band dual mode based on subscriber information of a terminal. The home location register requests the hot spot information electrical transmission in case of a dual band dual mode. A location management server(160) confirms location information within a cell from the home location register. The location management server generates location information in a character message type through a short message service center. The location management server transmits a character message to the terminal.
