PURPOSE: A method for providing content information for a network television is provided to display the information on various kinds of contents to a user through one screen. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit transfers a content information request to at least one content provider(20), and receives the information on the contents from the content provider. In addition, the interface unit receives the input of a user, and a control unit controls the display of contents for each user by receiving the content information. A display unit displays the contents for each user after receiving the content information according to the control operation of the control unit.
