PURPOSE: A touch panel of a display device is provided to rapidly detect a touch position though a light receiving element and a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel comprises a substrate(100), a plurality of light emitting devices(120), and a plurality of light receiving elements(130). The light emitting elements and the light receiving elements are arranged in the edge of the substrate. The number of light receiving elements is larger than that of light emitting elements. Therefore, the response rate is improved, and the accuracy of the touch detection is improved.
