PURPOSE: A device for temporarily storing a coin is provided to shorten the distribution time of a coin and reduce the number of defective operations. CONSTITUTION: A first guide member(3) and a second guide member face each other and erect. The first guide member is arranged between a pair of flat board type side frames. The first guide member forms a side of a coin storing unit(101). The first guide member supports tilts each free end. The first guide member forms the bottom of the coin storing unit. A first regulation member(17) and a second regulation member(18) regulate or does not regulate the rotation of a first guide member and a second guide member.
