NON-ISOLATION TYPE STEP-UP DC/DC CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A non-isolation type step-up dc/dc converter is provided to reduce inductor loss and a resonant phenomenon due to a change of a voltage boosting ratio. CONSTITUTION: An inductor(L) and a first diode(D1) are connected to the (+) side of a DC power supply of the first diode in series. An input capacitor is connected to a first connection node between the (+) side of the DC power supply and the inductor. A semiconductor switch(SW) is connected to a second connection node between the inductor and the first diode in parallel. An output capacitor is connected to a third connection node located in the output side of the first diode. A second diode connects the first connection node with the third connection node. When the voltage boosting ratio is lower than 1, a controller turns the semiconductor switch off to transfer DC power to the second diode.
