NATURAL GAS LIQUEFACTION PROCESS

PURPOSE: A natural gas liquefaction process is provided to realize fewer number of liquefaction system facilities, to ensure excellent liquefaction process efficiency by constituting a pre-cooling cycle having advantages of pure refrigerant cycle and mixed refrigerant cycle. CONSTITUTION: A natural gas liquefaction process comprises the steps of: liquefying natural gas using a closed loop pre-cooling cycle; and pre-cooled natural gas using a closed loop liquefaction cycle. The closed loop liquefaction cycle includes first and second pre-cooling cycles for pre-cooling natural gas provided within the same first heat exchange region through pure refrigerant.
