<p>The method involves inserting a neutral identification card (3) in a tachograph (5). The card is connected to an authentic identification card (2) by a connection unit (4) e.g. connection cable, arranged in a secured case (1), so that the neutral card produces information for identifying the identification card, so that the tachograph recognizes the neutral card as the authentic card to access the data in the tachograph. The data issued from the tachograph is collected and stored in a memory (8) arranged at an interior of the case. An independent claim is also included for a device for recovering data from a tachograph comprising an authentic identification card.</p> |
