The device has an induction coil (18) arranged in a holding part (4) and connected with a generator. A heat maintaining element (2) is in operative connection with the coil for heating a core element (16). The holding part together with the coil is movably held in a carrier frame (3). The heat maintaining element is insertable into an accommodating part (1) such that an upper side (19) of the heat maintaining element is directed opposite to the coil. A drive unit i.e. linear drive (8), moves the holding part back and forth against the upper side of the heat maintaining element.
