I-TYPE GIRDER HAVING BOX SECTIONS BY SECTION REINFORCEMENT BLOCKS AND THE TEMPORARY BRIDGE INSTALLATION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A I-shape girder which is transformed into a box type cross section by a cross section strengthened block and a temporary bridge construction method using the same are provided to secure the optimum cross section efficiency and to minimize self-weight increase. CONSTITUTION: A temporary bridge construction method using I-shape girder which is transformed into a box type cross section by a cross section strengthened block is as follows A steel pile is mounted in underground. A I-girder(100) is established on the steel pile. The I-girder is composed of an upper flange(110), a middle part(112) and a lower flange(114). A cross section strengthened block(130) is formed between upper and lower flanges with vertically stretched in order to improve the flexural rigidity and torsional rigidity of I-girder.
