<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport stream changeover device that synchronizes independent, asynchronous time information in each transport stream, and can ensure continuity in the time information when changing the transport stream. <P>SOLUTION: The transport stream changeover device comprises a reference time generation section 6 for generating reference time by the PCR of a first stream; a time stamp correction information calculation section 8 for calculating time stamp correction information by the time stamp information of the first stream, the reference time, and the PCR of a second stream before a change; a PCR change section 7 for obtaining the PCR from the second stream and changing the PCR based on the reference time; and a time stamp change section 9 for acquiring the time stamp information of the second stream for changing by the time stamp correction information.
