<p>The device (1) has a processing unit (4) connected with a machine base (10) that has a base body (12) sectionally provided with a thermosettable mass. The base body and/or a part of the processing unit are sectionally made of cement-based concrete e.g. fiber reinforced concrete that conforms to DIN 1045. The base body has attachment sections (16, 18) connected with a base section (14) and formed by a concrete component. The attachment sections are formed by a metal element (20') i.e. guiding element. Parts of the base body are glued and/or sewn with each other. The work pieces are made of wood, wood composite and plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a base body of a processing device.</p> |
