METHOD OF EXTRUSION SLEEVES WITH FLANGE FROM POROUS BLANKS OF CYLINDRICAL SHAPE

A method of extrusion sleeves with a flange from porous blanks of cylindrical shape includes extruding the flange in a cylindrical die. A cavity for forming the flange is formed in the upper part of die by composite punches. The flange is formed by extrusion in the die having a transition in its lower part. The lower punch is mounted in such a manner that the cavity for forming the flange in the initial moment is closed. At the first stage the blank is upset, and at the second stage the lower punch is displaced down and the flange is upset in the mobile die with counter pressure produced by elastic elements.
