Pallet tie-down assembly

An assembly 15 for anchoring a pallet 2 to a tie-down ring 7 comprises a cartridge 16 attached to the base of the pallet. The tie-down ring 7 forms part of a tie-down 3 within a floor surface. A stud 17 is received and held in the cartridge. A carriage 18, for holding a part of the tie-down ring, is held on the stud and is rotatable with respect to the stud and/or the cartridge. One end of the carriage is provided with a hook member 19 for receiving a part of the tie-down ring 7.
