The limit switch of Specification 952,495 has a modified latch member 57 and modified cooperating latching dogs 80, 81, to reduce the frictional force overcome at disengagement, the co-operating cam shoulders 63, 64 of latch member 57 and blocking legs 82, 83 of dogs 80, 81, being appropriately contoured (Fig. 7, not shown). The cam shoulders are also farther from the pivot axis of the latch member than in the prior Specification, to reduce the torque necessary to operate the switch. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 952,495. |
