<p>The device (10) has a supply device (24) provided for supply of an edge material (12) to a narrow side of a work piece. A glue application device (40) has a glue application roller (42) and a glue application nozzle (44) for applying glue e.g. thermoplastic, on the narrow side of the work piece. The nozzle is provided with a slot-shaped nozzle opening, where expansion of the opening in a vertical direction is adapted to the height of the narrow side for laminar application of the glue. A radiant heater is arranged between the glue application roller and the glue application nozzle.</p> |
