PURPOSE: A device for fixing the height of a dial type seat is provided to generate strong brake force since a roller is inserted between wedge type counterparts coupled with a brake wedge. CONSTITUTION: A device for fixing the height of a dial type seat comprises a front housing(1), a rear cover(2), and an actuating unit. A shaft hole(1a) is punched at the center of the front housing, and a space is formed therein. A fixing boss of the rear cover is inserted into the front housing. A shaft hole is punched at the center of the rear cover, and the rear cover is coupled with the front housing. The actuating unit adjusts the height of the seat by rotating a sector gear of a seat link. The actuating unit comprises an unlocking block(4) and a pinion gear unit. The unlocking block passes through the shaft hole. The pinion gear unit rotates the link sector gear to move the link up and down for the adjustment of the seat height.
