OLE FOR PROCESS CONTROL UNIFIED ARCHITECTURE SERVER BASED FDT/DTM AND EDDL FOR DEVICE INTEGRATION

摘要

PURPOSE: FDT(Field Device Tool)/DTM(Device Type Manager) and EDDL(Electronic Device Description Language) based OLE UA(OLE for Process Control Unified Architecture) server for integrating devices is provided to enhance the visibility and accessibility for field device information through FDT/DTM. CONSTITUTION: A search unit(430) dynamically searches for an external device, and requests description for the device. An interpreter(420) interprets the description. A conversion unit(440) converts the description into a format available in a web browser based OPC UA client. A communication unit provides the converted description to the OPC UA client.
