PURPOSE: A nematic liquid crystal composition is provided to prevent the generation of irregular smudge and to ensure fast response time and excellent low temperature stability. CONSTITUTION: A nematic liquid crystal composition comprises (a) a non-polar compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by chemical formulas 1-3, and (b) three kinds or more polar compounds selected from the group consisting of chemical formulas 4-7. In chemical formulas, R is n-alkenyl having C2-C9 carbon atoms; R1-R8 are independently C1-7 alkyl group; and X is H or F.
