PURPOSE: A portable gas container with a residual gas exhaust device is provided to easily evacuate the gas container without damaging the container body by hitting a nozzle to be opened permanently. CONSTITUTION: A portable gas container(10) comprises a top flange(11), a gas exhaust tube(20) which is fixed to the flange and connected to the inside of the gas container, a nozzle(30) which is elastically supported inside the gas exhaust tube with a spring(40) and includes a gas flow hole(31) and a gas discharge hole(32), and a packing member(50) which is fitted to the nozzle so that compressed gas is discharged outside when the nozzle is pressed. The nozzle body has an engagement protrusion(34) on the bottom thereof which is fitted into the gas exhaust tube, thereby keeping the gas flow hole open.
