The invention relates to a fastening system for mounting insulating panels (3). The system is composed of an expansion nail (1) with an expansion nail head (10) and an expansion nail shaft (12) and of a dowel (2) with a pressure plate (20) and an adjoining dowel shaft (21). The expansion nail (1) here is formed of plastic. Radially projecting webs (23) are arranged on the lower end, as viewed in the direction of insertion, of the pressure plate (20), these webs being separated from one another by means of interruptions (24) and producing a connection with the dowel shaft (21). The webs (23) are designed in such a way that they tear off when introducing the expansion nail (1). The invention also relates to a corresponding method of mounting an insulating panel (3) on a substructure (4). |
