<p>A container 101 which may be collapsible is provided with an identifier 115 such as an RFID tag which cooperates with a vending machine with a detector 125 such as an RFID reader so as to dispense liquid into the container 101. The collapsible container 101 can be made with a pair of upper and lower bellows sections (fig 1, ref 105) connected by a rigid section (106) with inwardly tapering ends (118, 199), such that the container 101 can be collapsed with the rigid section (106) and the bellows (105) sections overlapping. The vending machine fills the container via a spout. The container's 101 identifier 115 may also take the form of a fob, mechanical key, or machine readable code. The system of using the container 101 in the vending machine is in effect cashless, as the identifier 11 of the container 101 allows use of the container 101 to be monitored.</p> |
