PURPOSE: A sodium sulfide battery module is provided to enable the configuration of a convenient heat management system compared with a conventional sodium sulfide battery module using the latent heat of a phase change material. CONSTITUTION: A sodium sulfide battery module houses a sodium sulfide battery in a container(23) containing a phase change material. Silica(25) is filled in the container in order to fix the sodium sulfide battery. The outside of container is surrounded by insulating materials(27). The phase change material with a melting point of 250~350°C is one or more kinds selected from NaNO3, KNO3, KOH.
