PURPOSE: A dual band high frequency amplifier using a composite right/left handed transmission line is provided to achieve gain characteristics and matching characteristics by using composite right/left handed transmission lines having different phase angles. CONSTITUTION: An amplifying device has an amplifying function, and a matching circuit has an impedance matching reaction of an amplifier. The matching circuit has at least one shunt stub and at least one composite right/left serial transmission line. The composite right/left serial transmission line has plural left transmission lines and plural right transmission lines.
