The arrangement (1) has a capacitor module (8) with direct current (DC) contact devices (82, 84) electrically connected with DC contact devices (62, 64) of a switching module (6) and connection devices (22-26) of a retaining device (2). The switching module has a power semiconductor module arranged in a cooling device (600). Sliding elements (60, 80) of the capacitor module and the switching module are stacked in rails of a rail system (20) such that the connection devices, the capacitor module and the switching module form three parts of the stacks with electric connections of the parts.
