The injection-molded component, in particular, in the form of a toothbrush body comprises a base element (1) which consists of a transparent and/or opaque and/or translucent plastic material, and is provided with an areal decoration (4) with its visible side (5) facing the base element's surface (2). The base element is covered by a further element produced by a subsequent injection.
