A method for detecting the recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding provides for sampling the bioptates from gastric mucosa by esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Furthermore, the defects of gastric or duodenal mucosa are detected, and the bioptates are taken in periulcerous areas at the distance of 1.0- from the margins of the bleeding defect of gastric or duodenal mucosa. Upon immunohistochemical examination, the high risk of the bleeding recurrence is considered when more than 5 cells stained blue are detected in the field of vision of microscope. When 3-5 such cells are counted in the field of vision, the risk is considered as low, when less than 3 cells are counted – the bleeding recurrence is not detected. |
