PURPOSE: An operation control device of an overhead crane is provided to control the horizontal and vertical operations of the overhead crane using a sensor which comprises a sensing piece and a scanner detecting the sensing piece. CONSTITUTION: An operation control device of an overhead crane comprises a screw rod(130) which is connected to one or more of reversible motors to receive the torque, a moving block(140) which is thread-coupled to the screw rod and transferred pitch by pitch along the screw rod, a sensor which comprises a scanner arranged to face the screw rod and a sensing piece attached to the exterior of the moving block to generate an electric signal to the scanner when the moving block is transferred along the screw rod, a controller which is inputted with the electric signal from the scanner of the sensor and controls the set operations of the reversible motor according to the input signal, and a guide bar(160) which is installed at the set height on the bottom of a carriage to guide the linear motion of the moving block. |
