METHOD FOR PATTERNING PRINTING ROLL BY USING A ROLLER WITH A THIN-COATED LAYER(S)

PURPOSE: A print-roll patterning method using a roller having different thin layers is provided to enable print pattern grooves to maintain constant depths even if the output of laser beam changes since a material with relatively low laser processing performance forms the floor and thus the floor is not processed by laser. CONSTITUTION: A print-roll patterning method using a roller having different thin layers is as follows. The surface of a print roller is formed from a first material(s10). A second material, which has different laser processing performance from the first material, is coated on the surface of the print roller(s20). The laser beam is radiated onto the second material to remove it(s30) and thus print pattern grooves are formed on the surface of the print roller and the surfaces of the print pattern grooves are coated with a ceramic material(s40).
