<p>The method involves generating signature of group of data values by performing single commutative non-Boolean arithmetic operation between all data values of group. Another group of data values is generated by performing permutation of predetermined group of data values. A signature of group of data values is generated by performing single commutative non-Boolean arithmetic operation between all data values of group. The signatures are compared to detect fault attack. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) circuit for detecting default; (2) integrated circuit; and (3) IC card.</p> |
