PURPOSE: A curtain airbag device is provided to protect a passenger sitting on a rear seat by arranging a tension generation unit which is inflated with an airbag cushion. CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag device comprises an airbag cushion(20) and a tension generation unit(30). When gas flows into multiple inflation areas(21,22,23) of the airbag cushion, the inflation areas are inflated. The tension generation unit is arranged on the outer surface of the airbag cushion from one inflation area to the other inflation area. When the airbag cushion is inflated, the tension generation unit generates tension to protect a passenger sitting on a rear seat. |
