A mechanism 5 for clamping first and second stabplates 1,2 together includes a pivoted cam member 6 and clamping means 7, 10 for co-operating with the cam member 6. The mechanism is such that the cam member 6 is displaceable between a first position in which, in co-operation with the clamping means 7,10, it clamps the stabplates 1,2 together and a second position in which it has rotated to be between the stabplates 1, 2 with the stabplates 1, 2 separate from each other.
