PURPOSE: A method for selecting an object in a broadcasting reproduction apparatus and a system using the same are provided to easily select a specific object on a screen without using an additional input device. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting service server(200) extracts supplementary service information from action information of a broadcasting reproduction apparatus(100). The broadcasting reproduction apparatus receives the supplementary service information from the broadcasting service server. The broadcasting reproduction apparatus extracts an object within a content corresponding to the supplementary service information. If one of keys corresponded to each object is inputted from an input device, the broadcasting reproduction apparatus selects an object corresponding to the inputted key.
