VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A variable capacity swash plate type compressor is provided to minimize operation delay by rapidly discharging the high pressure to a heat absorption chamber of a crank at the initial operation of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A variable capacity swash plate type compressor comprises a cylinder block, a front housing, a rear housing, and a valve assembly(170). The cylinder block comprises a plurality of cylinder bores. The front housing comprises a crank-case. The rear housing comprises a suction chamber and an ejection room. The valve assembly regulates the flow of working fluid among the suction chamber, the ejection room and cylinder bore. The communications path is formed in the cylinder block so that the working fluid of crank-case can be exhausted to the suction chamber. An orifice member has an orifice hole(174). The orifice ball is thermally expanded by high temperature within the operating range of a compressor.
