The present invention relates to cleaning compositions for hard surfaces which comprise: (a) at least one cationic surfactant having germicidal properties; (b) at least one nonionic surfactant, (c) a chelating agent selected from the group alkali metal, ammonium and substituted ammonium polyacetates, carboxylates, polycarboxylates and polyhydroxysulfonates; optionall (cl) a precipitating builder selected from the group potassium carbonate and potassium oxalate; optionally (d) an effective amount of propellant; (e) water; and (f) optional components selected from coloring agents; fragrances and fragrance solubilizers; viscosity modifying agents, pH adjusting agents and pH buffers including organic and inorganic salts, hydrotropes; anti-spotting agents; anti-oxidants, preservatives, and corrosion inhibitors.
