1,033,858. Fixed resistors. CORNING GLASS WORKS. Oct. 20, 1964 [Oct. 29, 1963], No. 42777/64. Heading H1S. A glass or ceramic substrate 10 of plate-form, a plan view of part of which is shown in the drawings, is coated along one edge surface with an electro-conductive film 12 of metallic oxide, this coating also extending on to adjacent areas of the upper and lower surfaces of the substrate, Fig. 1. Electrical conductors 14, 16 bonded to the upper surface of the substrate 10 make contact at their ends with the film 12; similarly, a conductor 18 bonded to the lower surface of the substrate makes contact with the film. A number of slots 20 are cut into the edge of the substrate to completely divide the film 12, the divided portions of the film forming resistors 24 connected between the conductor 18 and the conductors 14, 16, Fig. 3. |
