PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing Torilis japonica extract for treating fatty liver is provided to prevent hypertension or diabetes. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating fatty liver contains 0.001-99.9 weight% of Torilis japonica extract as an active ingredient. The Torilis japonica extract is isolated from leaves, stems, flowers, roots, or mixture thereof using ethanol, water, or mixture solvent thereof. A composition for relieving hangover and losing weight contains the Torilis japonica extract as an active ingredient.
